With a new self-funded call for proposals, the Arqus Alliance is supporting innovative research projects with a clear focus on early career researchers. The call is open until 23 May 2025.

The Arqus European University Alliance invites researchers from its member universities to submit project proposals for long-term research collaborations. A new call for proposals will fund initiatives involving at least three Arqus partner institutions, including associated partners. Interdisciplinary approaches and the active involvement of young researchers from all participating institutions are particularly welcome.

Research projects should ideally relate to one of the three strategic priorities of the Alliance: climate change and environmental sustainability, artificial intelligence and digital transformation, or European identity and cultural heritage. Cross-thematic ideas that create new scientific links are also strongly encouraged.

Interested teams have until 23 May 2025 to submit their applications. More information on the call for proposals and the conditions for participation can be found on the  Arqus Alliance website.
